After a long wait, Bluewaters is now open to the public in Dubai. The new island has a lot to offer visitors including areas dedicated to residential, leisure and lifestyle. Residents and tourists in Dubai can now head to the island. It’s already being hailed as a potential popular spot for the fireworks at New Year’s Eve.

Bluewaters Island Now Open

Located off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence, the island gives visitors somewhere to enjoy a beach day. There’s also a boulevard with a large number of shops, restaurants and cafes. Bluewaters is also home to the world’s biggest observation wheel, Ain Dubai. Visitors will be able to see the Jumeirah Beach Residence skyline and a beautiful view of Ain Dubai, with fantastic views of Dubai’s New Year Fireworks. There is also a boardwalk that provides visitors with somewhere to run 2km along a pedestrian bridge. The pedestrian bridge connects the island to The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence and mainland Dubai.

Once inside the island, visitors can enjoy swimming pools and the ocean at Cove Beach. Cove Beach is located at Caesars Resort Bluewaters and entrance is Dh100 per day. Caesars Resort Bluewaters is already open, with Caesar Palace Bluewaters opening later on this week. Here visitors will be able to see Las Vegas shows at The Rotunda and enjoy five star luxury accommodation. There are 495 rooms in total, along with 80 serviced apartments.

In total, the island is a Dh8 billion investment and it has been created by Meraas Holding. It boasts 698 apartments, four penthouses and 17 townhouses. There are also courtyards, pedestrian spaces, greenery and scenic walkways.
